The birds and other natural treasures displayed here, are photographed by Samrat Sarkar and Arun Acharjee. The name of our village is Majdia, which has nearest Rail Station at Madanpur, in Nadia district (West Bengal, India). We have a water body here,  named Boisa Beel, which is long used by peasants for cultivation of paddy during summer, when it is not filled up by water.     Samrat da, it is a fantastic effort. It is the first time I came to know that such beautiful birds are available in our areas.Hats off to your effort. very nice.

    One suggesstion: If possible the knowledge about these birds should be shared with young children/ school going children of your area at first. This will help them to know about birds and love for the birds will grow among them which in turn will help in conservation of birds.

    অসাধারন কাজ ! কুর্ণিশ না জানিয়ে পারলাম না। গুগুলে এমনি সার্চ করতে করতে পেলাম এই সাইটটা । যেমন অসাধারন ছবি গুলো, তেমনি সুন্দর ঝরঝরে বাংলায় লেখা । এমন কাজ খুব বেশী হয়েছে বলে মনে হয়না। পাখির নাম গুলো বাংলায় দেওয়া বলে আমার মত নভিসের আগ্রহ আরও বেড়ে গেল। পাখি দেখতে ভাল লাগে। কিন্তু চিনি কটা পাখি? আমার বাড়ির আশেপাশে এদের অনেককেই দেখি…… নাম জানা ছিল না বলে দুঃখ ছিল। এবার ওদের আরও ভাল করে দেখার-চেনার ইচ্ছে বেড়ে গেল। ধন্যবাদ ।
